BuckleyBoo

Company: BuckleyBoo, LLC
Product Description:
BuckleyBoo was designed to teach fine motor skills and visual matching through sequential learning. With 3 cuddly characters to choose from, including BuckleyCat, BuckleyBear, and BuckleyDog, BuckleyBoo can be incorporated right into their world of imaginative play!
In Stage 1, (15-18 months) BuckleyBoo teaches matching, as babies learn to scan and match the colorful ribbons. In Stage 2, (18 months of age) BuckleyBoo becomes an interactive toy shared between caregiver and child, as your toddler learns to buckle successfully, waiting for that satisfying "click" and sense of accomplishment. At this age, they do not yet have the strength to unbuckle without assistance. In Stage 3, (approximately 3 years old) toddlers have developed the cognitive ability and physical strength needed to buckle and unbuckle, and are happy to play unassisted with their BuckleyBoo.
BuckleyBoo contains no lead and is hypoallergenic.
Interesting Tidbits:
This family operated and owned business was inspired by Emily Ross' niece who absolutely loved playing with the buckles on her high chair. No other toy in her playroom seemed to captivate her as much as the buckles did! Emily sewed a long hotdog shaped cat with 6 buckles attached, and gave it to her niece who played with it uninterrupted. Emily's mother, a child psychologist, saw developmental merit in the toy from problem solving skills to motor dexterity and thus, BuckleyBoo was born! Unbuckle the fun!
