| Born and raised in the Boston area, Robyn Klauer's first memorable experience with art was painting faces on the stones she found at the beach and selling them to neighbors. In sixth grade she painted t-shirts with puffy paint, selling her first one to her sister's boyfriend for $20. She was introduced to beading while living in San Diego in 1998 and immediately fell in love with the craft. After graduating with an M.S. in School Psychology in 2001, Robyn worked in the public schools until 2006, when she "retired" to spend her days raising her beautiful baby girl. Combining her love of beading, desire to be a stay at home mom, and lifelong entrepreneurial spirit, Georgie Designs was born. |
