Auntie-prenuer, Janice Naehu, created the Hi-Chair Bib while babysitting her niece.
Naehu, born and raised in Hawaii, spent 20 years in the film business as a celebrity personal assistant before coming up with the Hi-Chair Bib.
The company name, Poi Wear, was inspired by the Hawaiian food her niece was eating when Naehu came up with the idea.
Poi Wear has expanded the bib line to include Adult Bibs (called Cuisine Catchers) for people who eat in their car, with a large customer base of uniformed wearing individuals such as nurses, police officers and FedEx drivers. |
